What is the Scientific Method?
The Scientific Method is an organized approach to solve problems.
Steps to the Scientific Method:
1. Observe- You have to define the problem
2. Hypothesis- A reasonable explanation for what is observed, an "educated guess"
3.Experiment- Tests each hypothesis on order to prove or disprove them
4. Analysis- Compares the results from the experiment to the original hypothesis
5. Conclusion- Also known as a Conclusion, this is a hypothesis supported by the experimental evidence
Which basically means that after you find your problem, you have to make a testable statement regarding what you observed about it. Then you test your hypothesis with an experiment. Once you test your hypothesis, you have to analyze what you discovered from the experiment, and what you have discovered is your conclusion.
